Toyoura town, Koboro station. The only way to access this remote area is by train, and Koboro station is considered a "Hikyoeki" - photogenic train stations in Japan that are located off the beaten path. This region is visited and explored on foot, with the necessity of snow shoes.

The blue sea stretches out ahead as far as the eyes can see, and on a clear day, the peaks of snow-capped mountains seem to be floating in the sky above, making for truly picturesque scenery.
